Circular Economy Webinar

  • September 21, 2022

At the end of August, our Regional Policy and Programs Coordinator, Eloise Lobsey, presented at a webinar for local government in Western Australia. The focus of the webinar was Procurement in a Circular Economy and was hosted by the Eastern Metropolitan Regional Council (EMRC).

Eloise presented on the Hunter JO’s Circular Economy procurement project with a focus on context, outcomes, and key learnings from the first phase of the project. The aim of this was to share our journey with other regions looking to embark on a similar scope of work.

Other speakers at the webinar included Tanya Harris, Head of Sustainable & Ethical Procurement (Acting) at Edge Environment and Mike Ritchie, Managing Director at MRA Consulting.

You can watch the webinar on EMRC’s website along with other previous circular economy webinars they have hosted. Find out more about our Circular Economy Program on our program page or the Hunter Circular website.
