A2E Networking Breakfast Presentation
Destination NSW Hunter Business Presentation
The Councils of the region through the Hunter Joint Organisation have been successful in securing $860k through the Bushfire Local Economic Recovery Fund (BLERF) to build economic resilience and recovery.
In March 2022, we held a networking breakfast with over 50 stakeholders to provide an introduction to the Accelerating Events Economies Program, and how we can work together to achieve great outcomes for the region.
The Accelerating Event Economies (A2E) program of works will implement actions that provide a foundation for events attraction to the region. These actions will result in the attraction of additional events which deliver enduring public benefit to the region, accelerating job and income creation and shared assets that power local social and economic resilience and diversification.
This Local Economic Recovery project is jointly funded by the Commonwealth and the New South Wales Government under the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements.
